Playroom Transform - Creative Zone

After a long story of learning appreciation of what we have, we spent the morning decluttering the playroom and made our “creative zone”. Kids are excited playing a combination of magnet tiles and blocks. Best part is they quickly filled up the wall and happily showcased their drawings!

Before they learned and show their appreciation, no ipads for now.

We brought down all the boardgames from upstairs since we have a big round table and more storage room (behind where William sits) after “all big toys” were all hauled away!

We still keep our library corner where the elephant sits but with more sitting space and less “toy” distraction. Yes I cleaned out “a lot” toy cars and anything else I thought they would play but actually not (my decluttering principle).

Last thing, new rule is “exchange one big toy item if you are a good boy!” No, I didn't throw away all the big toys😏

Finally through numerous rearrangement, we’ve found a bookshelf spot for sitting!

All because the IKEA bookshelf was on sale for $199 and came with a one-year return policy—unboxed. As soon as Mick finished assembling it, we ended up rearranging almost everything to make room for the six-shelf unit while keeping the playroom layout functional and free-flowing.
